Educator as Mentor
Six connected principles guide educators in observing, understanding and mentoring every learner.
A child-centric approach that empowers educators as mentors, nurtures holistic development, and creates meaningful learning experiences for every child.
The Concept
The 720° Synergic Mentorship Framework explores the methodology through which a curriculum is articulated to the child. In this framework, an educator is not merely a person who delivers a curriculum, but an architect of the learning experience.
The framework is cyclic and built around six core principles for educators. It addresses two key areas of development: Educator as Mentor and Child-Centric Holistic Development.
Six connected principles guide educators in observing, understanding and mentoring every learner.
The second layer places the whole child and their individual development at the centre.
The Complete Framework
Educator as Mentor
Observance is the foundation of meaningful education.
The same behaviour can have different meaning for different children.
A well-connected child is well prepared to explore and learn.
The best way to educate the child is to create the opportunity to discover.
Child-led discovery and intentional teaching are complementary.
The goal is not dependence on the educator but growing the independence of the learner.
“What should I teach today?”
“Who is this child, and what does this child need now?”
Second Layer
Nurturing mind, body, heart and character.
Building skills for tomorrow.
Every child has a voice.
Children, educators and families as one.
Rooted in values, open to the world.
Kindness today, a better tomorrow.
